A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between AQTI and ADA University
A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute (AQTI) and ADA University was signed. The memorandum signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute, Ali Nabiyev, and the Vice-Rector of the University, Fariz Ismayilzadeh, reflected issues such as the development of scientific-practical relations based on mutual and beneficial cooperation, the provision of qualified personnel training, and the sharing of existing experience in areas of mutual interest.
Thus, according to the Memorandum of Understanding, professors and teaching staff of ADA University will be involved in the Institute's Scientific Committee in order to strengthen the scientific potential of AQTI and expand its activities. Taking into account the international experience in the fields of food safety, animal and plant health, cooperation will be established between AQTI and ADA University in the direction of developing new educational programs for different levels of education. Also, knowledge and experience will be exchanged in the field of scientific justification of risk assessment related to the safety of food products, master's and doctoral students will be involved in scientific research.
Scientific-research works and joint projects based on mutual cooperation will be developed and implemented. Bachelor's, master's and doctoral students of ADA University will be involved in scientific research work of the Institute, in accordance with the legislation, the appointment of scientific supervisors, advisors and opponents will be supported. At the same time, seminars and trainings will be held between AQTI and ADA University based on predetermined topics, and students will be involved in internship programs. A joint scientific-practical and scientific-methodical conference, symposium and other events will be organized. On a regular basis, information will be exchanged and work will be carried out in the direction of informing the parties in the relevant field of activity.
