The Ministry of Health organized an educational campaign in Fuzuli city focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle for school-age children

Within the framework of the "Great Return to the Liberated Territories" program, which stands among the main priorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Health continues its activities to promote a healthy lifestyle among the citizens relocated to the liberated territories. On February 23, 2024, the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry organized an educational event and campaign in Fuzuli city for school-age children and their parents focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Representatives of the Ministry of Health spoke on topics such as "Preserving Health", "Healthy Lifestyle", and others. Recommendations were given on choosing a healthy lifestyle from an early age for the comprehensive development of school-age children, emphasizing the importance of daily physical activity and healthy nutrition. It was highlighted that purposeful educational activities in our country are always focused on the importance of the health of the younger generation.

Information was provided about the "Healthy Child" internet portal (https://saglamusaq.az/) and its mobile application, prepared by the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health and made available for use. It was noted that the portal, designed for students, teachers, and parents, contains useful information, educational materials, videos, and interactive games related to health preservation and strengthening.

After the event, an informative campaign promoting a healthy lifestyle was conducted, featuring exhibits displaying the consequences of harmful habits. Additionally, an interactive quiz on maintaining a healthy lifestyle was organized to reinforce the knowledge gained among students. Participants of the campaign were presented with gifts promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Approximately 300 students, teachers, and parents participated in the educational event and campaign.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Health plans to conduct ongoing educational events and screening campaigns in other liberated territories as well.
